Versioned WordPress paths

Core version 6.9.7, 6.8.8, 6.7.7. Plugin and theme paths embed slug@version. See the WordPress plugin section to install the URL rewriter.

Access URLs are unchanged

WordPress core, plugin, and theme paths, the plugin ZIP, and manifest.json continue to be served from https://wp-cdn.launchready.cn/ exactly as before. Existing embeds keep working without any change — this page only consolidates the documentation on launchready.cn.

Connect your site in one install

Chinaready WordPress CDN is a free GPL plugin for WordPress.org and direct download. After your production and staging Origins are allowlisted, it rewrites enqueued wp-includes and matching wp-content static asset URLs to this CDN — only when the installed WordPress core, plugin, or theme version matches the published snapshot in manifest.json.

  1. Apply for allowlist and list every Origin that will load assets.
  2. Download the ZIP below or install from WordPress.org after listing is live.
  3. Upload under Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, then activate.
  4. Open Settings → Chinaready WP CDN to review version matches and enable rewrite scopes.

The plugin does not replace a full-site CDN, mirror uploads, or rewrite commercial plugins and optimizer merged bundles. Same build as the WordPress.org release.

Chinaready WordPress CDN FAQ

Why does this service exist?
WordPress sites on overseas origins often load dozens of static assets from wp-includes and wp-content across a slow cross-border path. This curated snapshot is delivered on Alibaba Cloud CDN.
Who can load the files?
Origins approved after application. This allowlist is separate from the Google Fonts and Frontend CDN allowlists.
How do I connect my WordPress site?
Install the free GPL plugin from chinaready-wp-cdn.zip or WordPress.org, activate it, and confirm your Origin is allowlisted. The plugin rewrites enqueued static assets when local versions match manifest.json. Configure scopes under Settings → Chinaready WP CDN.
Which versions are published?
Latest WordPress core patch plus one stable release per curated plugin/theme. Pin exact versions from https://wp-cdn.launchready.cn/manifest.json.
What is not mirrored?
Site uploads, admin PHP, commercial plugins (Elementor Pro), and optimization-plugin merged bundles with site-specific hashes. Use gfonts for Google Fonts and a full-site CDN for HTML and media.
